Glastonbury, Connecticut is a town that is in Hartford County, which is in Connecticut, which is in the United States. The town of Glastonbury CT was formally founded in 1693.
However, the settlers first arrived a few years before in 1636. The town gets its name from Glastonbury in Somerset, England and is located on the banks of the Connecticut River. The 2010 census recorded that the town had a population of 34,427.
