Barkhamsted, Connecticut is a town in The Constitution State. Originally, a part of Windsor, in 1732, the place was mainly used for farming and livestock raising. In 1732, the General Assembly, named it ‘Berkhamstead’. In 1774, the town wanted for a union, didn’t get any official recognition till 1779.
