Fenwick, Connecticut is a borough which is located in Middlesex County, United States. Fenwick CT is set off from the town center of Old Saybrook by a large cove over a causeway. It is located exactly where the Connecticut River flows into Long Island Sound.

The United States Census Bureau records that the borough has a total area of just 0.4 square miles and all of it is land. The main road CT 154 goes over the bay on the north side of the borough.

Fenwick is the least populous borough in Connecticut. The major part of the borough is included in Fenwick Historic District, which covers an area of approximately 195 acres. It includes 60 buildings as well as the Fenwick Golf Course

Created in the late 1800s, the Fenwick Golf Course was made from the numerous empty lots in the center of the district. The Stephen Potter Cup is held here. It also includes a public boating club and a clay tennis courts.

17 buildings out of the 60 represent examples of the shingle style, with some others in Queen Anne or Victorian styles. The most prominent features include gable-on-hip roofs and minimalist wood bracing. Other architectural features are upper stories that overhang lower stories, flares at the eaves of roofs and pent roofs over windows and doors. This place is composed largely of shingle-style residences from early in the century.

The town has two lighthouses and a single private beach. The Inner lighthouse is at the tip of Lynde Point, Fenwick’s peninsula and the Outer is a quarter mile off shore, connected by a rough jetty.
